ISLAMABAD, Oct 23 (APP): An Accountability Court (AC) on Monday disposed of a reference against former finance minister Ishaq Dar pertaining to holding assets beyond known sources of income.
AC Judge Muhammad Bashir announced the verdict on a petition of former minister.
At the outset of hearing, National Accountability Bureau Prosecutor Afzal Qureshi adopted the stance that no evidence had been found against the accused in the said reference, and the trial could not be proceeded in such circumstances.
At this, the judge asked the NAB prosecutor to give this statement in writing.
The court subsequently disposed of the reference against Ishaq Dar.
